Peperan is a director, writer, content creator and occasional disruptor of norms - who’s recently “taken up” analog photography, though in reality, she just enjoys walking around with a camera for the style points.

She began her career on YouTube in 2010, where she built a vibrant community and collaborated with brands. Eventually, she decided, "Why not create a comedy series about the queer millennial experience?" And so, #CasaDoCais was born—an unapologetically raw and hilarious show that became a hit on RTP Play. Think Friends, but with fewer coffee shops, more wine, existential crises, and glitter.

Since 2023, she has been directing commercials at Playground, blending humor, drama, and authenticity to craft impactful stories—seamlessly merging cinematic techniques with the latest social media language to engage and resonate with modern audiences.

In addition to her work in filmmaking, Peperan is an outspoken voice in Portugal’s LGBTQIA+ community. Whether advocating for human rights or making bad puns on set, she strives to bring authenticity to everything she does—even if it means breaking a few stereotypes or sporting neon green hair for a while.

A fun fact about her? She studied graphic design but quickly realized she’s better at shaping stories than designing flyers.
